Medallion ran 100% of tickets at London’s Fabric. The set went out to ticket holders a week later.
Years of fan data picked a handful of J Balvin’s top fans for a tiny show in Madrid.
Interpol’s first Mercury Lounge show since 2001. Fan data put the most engaged fans in the room.
A one-off immersive event, ticketed fans-first and fully in the artist’s hands.
“Medallion let us manage ticket demand whilst bringing those fans into an ecosystem…”
For a show as intimate and in-demand as Interpol’s Mercury Lounge underplay, we needed a simple way to manage significant demand for a very small number of tickets. Medallion helped us reach fans directly, handle the ticket selection process and manage demand for the show. And they made it all so easy for us!
For a one-off immersive event, we needed ticketing that put fans first and kept everything in our hands. Medallion did exactly that.
The event was a huge success. Medallion helped us identify and reach J Balvin’s top fans in Madrid and make sure they were the ones in the room for his private show.
The Just For You event series from Joy Orbison has always been much more than another exercise in data collection. Medallion let us manage ticket demand whilst bringing those fans into an ecosystem and rewarding them with exclusive content from the event itself.

You do. Requests come into your artist login, where you can choose how to allocate each show:
You can bring in your own newsletter or merch buyer lists, compare strategies side by side and see exactly which fans get tickets before you allocate. You can then apply the same logic to every show on the tour.
Every request needs a verified email and an authorized card. Known scalpers and bots are then filtered out before allocation, and your artist login shows how many were removed from each show and why:
Your own fan data adds another layer of checks.
You do. The artist is the data controller and fans register under your privacy policy, so you can export every registrant’s details. Listening and show history come from fans who use the app. You decide whether promoters get access.
No. Fans request tickets on the web from one link, with no download or queue. The app is optional, but it gives you richer listening and show history.
No. You don’t need an existing audience or to upload music. Just claim your profile, which connects the fan data to you, and import your list if you have one.
Yes. Import mailing lists, merch buyers, or fan club and forum members, then use them to match fans and set priority. It works even if a fan doesn’t use the app.
Yes. Medallion isn’t a CRM. It’s a consumer live-music product where artists talk to fans and sell to them directly, and they own all the data. Keep using your CRM for drops and data, then send fans to Medallion to buy the ticket.
Requests open at announce and usually close at least 24 hours before any other presale or the general sale. That gives unsuccessful fans enough time to try for tickets elsewhere.
No problem. Even a small allocation is a great way to look after your best fans. And if demand is high during registration, we can ask promoters for more tickets.
We work from the allocation the promoter or venue gives us, and you can describe it in as much detail as you like, for example Section 101, rows A, C and E, seats 1–5. Fans choose a quantity and the sections or price levels they’d accept. We hold the highest amount they could pay, then charge only for the tickets they get. If a section is oversubscribed, your allocation strategy decides who gets those tickets.
Yes. You can list as many price points as you like for each section, for example Section 101 from $75 to $100, and fans pick the price they want.
Their card hold is released and they hear from us before the next sale. You can send them to another presale, an overflow presale with a code, or the general sale.
Yes. Fans buy VIP packages through Medallion, and your VIP provider can still handle fulfilment.
Pick one and tell us about it. We’ll show you exactly how Medallion can help.
